Teucrium scoridonia (Woodsage) 9 cm Pot

Growth habit & appearance: Teucrium scorodonia forms loose, softly textured clumps of downy grey-green leaves on square stems, characteristic of the Lamiaceae. As the season progresses it produces tall, airy flowering spikes carrying pale yellow-green blooms that subtly attract bees, hoverflies, and other woodland-edge pollinators. Its muted tones and open structure blend easily into naturalistic or native plantings, while still providing ecological depth and movement in dappled light.

Growing conditions: A fully hardy perennial native to Ireland and Europe, Wood Sage thrives in full sun to partial shade and adapts well to dry, sandy, or stony soils. It is particularly at home in woodland edges, rocky banks, and hedgerow margins, making it extremely reliable across varied Irish landscapes.
