Sun Agaric (Agaricus subrufescens) (often misidentified as A. blazeii) is a culinary mushroom known for its distinct almond-like aroma, which has earned it the common name "almond mushroom". Native to Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia, and Australia, it was widely cultivated in North America during the 19th century and has regained popularity in recent years due to its immune-modulating properties and potential applications in cancer care.
