Wood Ear Organic

Wood Ear (Auricularia auricula) is a widely distributed mushroom found in temperate and subtropical forests across the globe. Extensively cultivated and valued in cuisine for its slightly crunchy texture, it has also been studied for a range of potential health benefits. These include anti-cholesterol, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects, as well as cardiovascular support and dopamine regulation (observed in animal studies). As such, it may have relevance for a number of age-related health conditions.

MycoNutri™ Wood Ear is produced from the fruiting body using two-stage hot-water extraction followed by vacuum concentration and spray-drying. The final extract contains more than 30% heteropolysaccharides as well as phenolic compounds that play an important part in Wood Ear's health benefits.
