Sun Agaric (often misidentified as Agaricus blazeii) is a culinary mushroom known for its distinctive almond-like aroma, which has earned it the common name “Almond Mushroom”. Native to Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia and Australia, it was widely cultivated in North America during the 19th century and has regained popularity in recent years.

Now produced using 50% high-concentration hot-water extract (10-12:1) and 50% full-spectrum hot-water extract, both derived from the fruiting body, providing naturally higher levels of beta-glucans and dietary fibre from the mushroom itself.

This updated formula follows a balanced, natural extraction philosophy, respecting the inherent harmony of the mushroom’s active compounds rather than isolating or exaggerating individual ingredients.

It reflects a holistic approach similar to the traditional TCM principle of “Jun–Chen–Zuo–Shi”, where each component supports and complements the others to achieve overall balance and efficacy.

The result is a formula that delivers broader nutritional activity and enhanced support for overall wellbeing.

MycoNutri™ Sun Agaric is produced from the fruiting body using a dual-process hot-water extraction followed by vacuum concentration, spray-drying and blending. The final extract contains more than 40% beta-glucans.
