MycoNutri™ Cordyceps, Astragalus & Gentiana Complex is a targeted formulation that was originally developed with Dr Trevor Wing a specialist in infertility presentations.
It combines Cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris) extract with a minimum of 3% cordycepin, Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus) extract with a minimum of 2.5% Astragaloside IV and Qin Jiao (Gentiana macrophylla) hot-water extract.
Now refined using exclusively fruiting-body Cordyceps extracts, combining a full-spectrum 1% cordycepin extract with a high-potency 5% cordycepin fraction. This update replaces earlier mixed-source approaches, delivering a richer profile of naturally occurring β-glucans, nucleosides and supporting compounds.
Astragalus and Gentiana extracts have also been upgraded to fully traceable, GACP-grown roots with consistent levels of Astragaloside IV and gentiopicroside.
The result is a cleaner, higher-integrity and better-balanced formula that mirrors the classical harmony of traditional herbal logic while benefiting from modern extraction precision — offering a more focused synergy for women.
The capsule fill weight has also been increased considerably from 400mg to 650mg to support practitioners and patients with larger dose protocols where appropriate.

Growing Seasons & Information
Cordyceps (indoor cultivation, year-round):
Grown indoors year-round in controlled clean-rooms using organic rice + soy substrate. Fruiting and cordycepin formation are promoted with blue-light exposure (≈ 450–470 nm), 18–22 °C temperature and 85–95% RH. Production runs in 45–60-day cycles, allowing consistent quality and supply; harvested at full maturity, then extracted at ≤ 60 °C to protect heat-sensitive cordycepin.
Astragalus (field-grown roots, autumn harvest):
Field-cultivated on high-plateau sandy loams in north-west China (e.g., Gansu / Inner Mongolia / Ningxia). Sown in spring and grown 3–4 years to develop active saponins; roots harvested in autumn (Sept–Nov), then cleaned, sliced and low-temperature dried before extraction. Farms operate to pesticide-free specifications with batch traceability.
Gentiana (Qin Jiao; field-grown roots, autumn harvest):
Cultivated in cool, highland regions (e.g., Gansu / Qinghai / Shaanxi). Spring planting on well-drained, slightly alkaline soils; 2–3-year roots harvested in autumn (Sept–Oct) for peak glycoside content (e.g., gentiopicroside). Material is authenticated to Gentiana macrophylla and dried under controlled conditions prior to hot-water extraction.
Raw Material manufacturing process
All ingredients are extracted exclusively with purified water, with no alcohol or synthetic solvents.
Cordyceps extraction is maintained below 60 °C to protect heat-sensitive cordycepin.
Column-chromatography purification is applied only to the high-potency cordycepin fraction.
Each extract is vacuum-concentrated and spray-dried, then carefully blended into a uniform, stable powder.
The final product is fully water-soluble, suitable for drinks, tonics and capsules.
