Tremella fuciformis

Snow Fungus is a parasitic fungus that typically grows on other fungi, particularly species of the genus Annulohypoxylon, which inhabit decaying branches of broadleaf trees.

MycoNutri™ Snow Fungus is a pure hot-water extract (8-10:1) of Tremella fuciformis fruiting bodies, known for their naturally occurring glucomannan polysaccharides.

MycoNutri™ Snow Fungus is produced using a natural, non-enzymatic extraction process, preserving the mushroom’s original molecular complexity and natural balance. Hot-water extraction is followed by vacuum concentration and spray-drying. The final extract contains more than 30% total polysaccharides (glucomannan).

Take up to 1½ heaped 5ml teaspoons daily (suggested intake 800mg-2.4g per day) or as recommended by your health professional. Add to hot or cold beverages or sprinkle into food for easy consumption.

Fully water-soluble, though slow-dissolving due to its glucomannan structure. When mixed with water, the powder may initially form small gelatinous clusters; continuous stirring or blending helps achieve full dispersion.

For this reason, Tremella is ideal for smoothies, shakes or warm drinks rather than plain water.

 

 

 

The fruiting bodies are cleaned, dried and milled, followed by gentle hot-water extraction under controlled low temperatures. This process avoids the use of enzymes or chromatographic separation, preserving the natural glucomannan polysaccharides that give Tremella its characteristic gel-like quality.

After extraction, the liquid is vacuum-concentrated and spray-dried, producing a pure, fully soluble extract.

Because of Tremella’s hygroscopic nature, batch density and flow properties can vary depending on moisture content and harvest season. MycoNutri™ therefore adjusts capsule size and fill volume when necessary to maintain consistency and dosage accuracy. This variability is a natural feature of genuine Tremella extracts — a mark of authenticity rather than defect.
